The collectible magnet offers the lasting token of appreciation for the donation. The cards are easy to distribute plus are durable and secure in the field. You would think that SnapNwin was made for philanthropic endeavors.
The greatest challenge in developing fundraising ideas is not the prizing, as most companies that will gladly donate goods and services for the right amount of exposure; it is the engagement of donors to listen to the cause. This is where SnapNwin cards do their best work. They are the perfect tool at street level to execute fundraising ideas effectively. They make it easy to engage donors with the novelty of their design. No coins, pens or flat surfaces are needed to try ones luck. Simple bend the card and snap out the magnet portion to reveal the prize. Compare that to the challenges of scratch cards, see Scratch Cards SnapNwin wins hands down.
Organizations have used different approaches in development of their fundraising ideas and donation strategies. Some have placed a fixed price on a card as a chance to win, whereas others have used the variable message inside to suggest the size of donation one would need to commit to. All in all, the greatest crucial element is not the tactic of prizing but rather the ability to engage people on the streets, doorsteps, meeting halls and dinner functions. SnapNwin in its very design becomes the catalyst in the generation of very cool fundraising ideas. Fundraising Ideas consistently require fresh approaches, new deliveries and tactics to attract, engage and captivate potential donors long enough to be able to create sympathy for a worthy cause. SnapNwin is the perfect fit. For example applications of snapNwin see Applications.
Recipe for a $15,000 fundraiser
Establish 3-4 major sponsors/contributors to cover cost of production by selling space [real-estate] on front face of card - (ie. They will have their logo on the face of all 3,000 cards and on your web site for $1,000) - Ideal candidates are real-estate brokers, car dealers, or any major independent retailers in your area that love exposure. (Some may also be your source for grand prizes.)
Solicit local businesses to provide lots and lots of small prizes to be printed inside of card in support of your cause. The easiest offer is a discount for their services such as: buy one get one free, $50.00 off first purchase of over $500, or free appetizer with meal, etc. You may even get some grand prizes donated such as a big screen TV or barbeque. You will find that most businesses are more than willing to offer a coupon to attract new business.
Front of SnapNwin cards are printed with fundraising theme including logos of major sponsors across the bottom of the card.
Back of card has a series of four collectible images printed on snap-out magnet, ie. cute baby animal pictures, kids drawings or anything that pulls on the heart strings of emotion related to your campaign (Ahhhh isn't that cute). The key is to offer a series that make them smile so that participants will want to collect the entire set.
The inside of the card, under snap-out magnet, has the prizes obtained from local merchants plus grand prizes.
People pay $5 per card for a chance to win grand prize (big screen TV, barbeque, etc) and are delighted when they win ½ off next pizza. Biggest plus is that they have a set of magnets on their fridge as a thank you for supporting a great cause.
It's fun, it's different and designed to be great fundraiser!
If you get major sponsors to cover cost of printing 3,000 cards - You have potential of raising $15,000* with issue of 3,000 cards. If most supporters buy set of four images you need less than 1,000 contributors!
Participants will love the chance to win, retailers will love the new business and your cause gets the needed money. It's a win/win/win situation for all!
* ie. 3,000 X $5.00 = $15,000
